PTO Helps with KFC |
Thanks to our gracious PTO, Oliver Elementary is able to put on KFC (Kids For Character) Receptions. Our parents bake and donate cookies and punch for our receptions. Janene Powell organizes and sets up prior to the reception. The PTO also gives a pencil and a medallion to each award recipient. Thank you PTO for all you do! |

Responsibility Award winners for the first six weeks were Jasmine Brooks, Noah Horn, Jared Muehlstein, Porsiah Woodard, Taylor Beeson, Manuel Gonzalez, and Maddy Kuykendall. Peer Mediators |
At Oliver we have peer mediators.They work out problems with our students. We're students helping students. They try to help them work out any kinds of problems students may encounter.The mediators have been through training in Abilene.It was diffucult, but beneficial. The mediators are 4th and 5th graders at Oliver. Mrs. Mueller and Mr. Fore are our sponsors. Here is a list of the mediators:
