Mrs. Shoemaker's class has been learning about fossils. Students in her class had the experience of finding fossils in the same ways as archaeologists. Students were suprised to find plastic dinosaurs inside their own pieces of rock. Students were very careful wearing their safety goggles as the experiment was conducted.

During their transportation parade, Head Start students led the parade by waving the American flag. Thanks goes to the Stamford Police Department for blocking off the street and for the escort. Also, thanks goes to Mrs. Ender, Mrs. Alvarado, and Mrs. Faulks for their coordination of the event.

Students were also able to practice their roping skills. A great time was had by all the students and teachers. The weather was beautiful and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for all.
