Oliver students, along with SHS cheerleaders, Bulldog football players, parents, and grandparents enjoyed Fantastic Friday on October 31st. The campus had a "Blue Out" along with real a real Pep Rally to support our Bulldogs!

Students enjoyed an assembly provided by PTO called "Mixed Nuts."

Mr. Lewis, the superintendent of Stamford ISD, does his part to encourage learning. Kindergarten was studying the letter G, so Mr. Lewis showed up with his guitar to sing and play for our students.

Angelita Follis, a 4th grade math teacher at Oliver Elementary School was named Wal-Mart's "Teacher of the Year."

A surprise assembly was called at Oliver on September 18, 2008 at 2:30. On hand was Keith Gilbreath, the local Wal-Mart Assistant Manager, to deliver the good news.

Follis was presented with a $1,000 check for the school, and a $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card for herself.

Our congratulations goes to Mrs. Follis for a job well done. She always gives everything her best and demands the same from her students.

Parents, grandparents, and students enjoyed a night at Oliver, eating, visiting, and learning ways to help with reading, math, and TAKS at home.

Dads, stduents, and teachers weathered the cold on Dec. 5th to attend Donuts for Dads at Oliver Elementary. Everyone enjoyed a time for visiting (and eating!).
